Melissa Kizilos, M.D., named Corporate Medical Director for National Accounts at Arkansas Blue Cross
Fayetteville, Ark. (November 1, 2020) – Melissa Kizilos, M.D., CPXP* has joined Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield as corporate medical director for BlueAdvantage National Accounts. In this role, she will serve as a clinical resource and adviser to clients whose health plans cover members throughout the United States.
Most recently, she served as medical director, Care Management and HCCU (Highly Complex Case Unit) at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.
Her other experience includes:
- Medical Director, NovuHealth in Minneapolis
- Research and Development Physician, Wolters Kluwer Health in Minneapolis (healthcare software solutions development)
- Internal Medicine Physician, Park Nicollet Health Services in Wayzata, Minn.
She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Kizilos earned a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass., and received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Melissa and her husband, Mark, have two children and will reside in Northwest Arkansas.
